Sunshine on my window makes me happy like I should be...

Heyyy :D

On Saturday it was a rather sunny day, yup, sunny, in February! The weather is all over the place lately, one minute the sun is out and the next its snowing, make your mind up weather!

Cardigan - Primark - £10
Dress - Topshop - £20
Tights - Forever 21 - £7
Boots - Dorothy Perkins - £15

So here's my sunny Saturday outfit :) It's not that different to what I've been wearing the past few weeks actually , only this time when I go out I don't have to wear a coat aha. In my past pictures I might look like I'm lovely and warm but I'm really not :P .This dress was one of my first purchases from Topshop and cost around £20, it's still in very good condition since I have worn it about a million times! Ahh how I do love that shop, got to be one of my favourite shops by far, no doubt about it every time I go in there there is something I love :)

For some strange reason even though the sun was blazing outside I had a big craving for baking (aha that rhymes) :P So whilst everyone one else was outside soaking up the sun I was inside baking , and when I say I baked I mean I baked!

I baked cupcakes , spotted dick, fruit cake anddd chocolate brownies! How I do love baking... :D

All this baking doesn't really help the diet... Ahh well :P

I do need to start being good though! I got my prom date the other day - its in June so I better get looking for prom dresses! I fell in love with this one, but my mom said I couldn't have it because its from America and you cant exchange it if it doesn't fit :( This was the dress I tell you! Check it out here... Isn't it lovely! I can't get it out of my mind, it's so different, I've looked at so many dresses and none of them are me. This one was perfect and I can't get it. BOOOO! Bad times... If anyone knows of any dresses you think I might like please let me know! :D Thanx :)

Peace!

Happy Days!

As I was strolling around my house yesterday morning , getting ready as slowly as possible for shitty school the phone rang... It was from the school saying the school was close for some reason or other , I didn't even listen to why , I didn't care. Schools closed! I was very happy =) aha =P

Unfortunately I had all ready started getting ready so I couldn't really get back in my pj's =( bad times... Ahh well , I suppose it helped me get my day started! Rather than me watching a lot of Smallville all day =P

I took a trip to the bank! To open up a bank account with the HUGE amount of money I have... :/ I wish. The plan is if I have a bank account I will  have a better chance of saving my money up. As I wont have money on me all the time there's less chance I will spend it. Then again it could be bad... I can buy things from shops using my card , knowing me I will end up getting carried away , thinking I have a fair amount of money left when I actually don't. God help me when I get a credit card =P .

Anyways, here's my outfit for the day =D

Shirt - Charity Shop
Skirt - H&M

You can't see it very clearly but it's the best I could do! It's so hard taking pictures of your outfits when no one else is there to take them! I wish I had my own photographer =P Nehu, The shirt I'm wearing  cost around £5 from the charity shop. It's the first time I've ever worn it actually and I bought it about half a year ago. I always do that , it needs to stop. =) The skirt was in the sale for £5 from H&M, I bloody love this skirt! I like the pleated look, i've bought two more since then in diff colours =P My boots were also in the sale in Dorothy P's before crimbo. Wow, I never realised pretty much everything I wear has been in the sale or from a charity shop. I sound like a right tight arsed cow! =P Gotta love a bargain tho =D

I threw on this vintage looking clock necklace that was £10 from H&M. This isn't mine though I robbed it from my sister =P I remember when she bought it - she had a rant because she paid £10 for it and found that the clock didn't even work on it. Aha , made me chuckle =P

I said that in my next blog I would show you some of the things that me and my sister had put on ebay =D Sooo here they are...

Vintage Black Lace Top
Vintage style jumper
    Floral Blouse - Newlook!
   Vintage style Cardiagan
          Buy it now -£5!

Electric Blue jeans - Newlook!
If you want to know more about any of these items then check us out on ebay - vintage.kiss.x

Thanx =D

So I got it a bit wrong?

Okay I got a bit confused , but it was an easy mistake to make! =P The show we went to see was Sleeping Beauty - not beauty and the beast aha. I think its because I love beauty and the beast so much, it would be amazing if they did a ballet show for that! They might do actually, I'll have to look into it....

Just had a look and they do! Ahhh I've got to go and see it! =D I love my Disney movies I do, I don't think you can ever be too old for Disney =)

Anyway, enough of me babbling on, back to Sleeping Beauty =) I really enjoyed the show , I think I preferred it to Swanlake , maybe because of the fact I had a better view and didn't have to move seats half way through! aha =P It also had more humour =)

So... Attempt at elegant ballet outfit no. 2!

Dress - Debenhams, red herring
Clutch - Tk Maxx
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

Coat - Miss Selfridge , £50

This dress was another one of my many bargains! It cost me £12.50 from Debenhams in the red herring section , originally £40 =D I paired it with some floral tights and my old black tiny heels which were in the sale in Dorothy Perks early last year. I really do need to invest in some new heels, I have about 5 pairs and can only walk in 2. =P I also wore my clutch bag from Tk Maxx - £10. I'm not a big fan of clutch bags. I like the look of them and everything but it annoys me having to hold it in my hand all the time! It just gets in the way... aha =P

Jewellery wise I work my necklace that my nan and grandad got me from holiday, think it was Devon or Cornwall? Somewhere like that! =) I love it , it's so nice and different, I was well impressed with my grandparents for picking this! Aha.

My earrings were from H&M, my sister got me these too for my 14th birthday, wow, I didn't even realise I had had them for that long! They are lovely though =) .

When I got in from school yesterday I decided to piece together a quick outfit! I hate being stuck in my uniform all day... when I get in from school I usually just throw on my monkey pj's and watch a bit of Smallville! =P But I felt like doing something a little productive , not that putting together an outfit is that productive... lol.

This shirt was in the sale just after Christmas at Newlook for around £15 I think. The bow is actually park of the shirt. This is probably one of my favourite items in my wardrobe - it goes with pretty much everything and I wear it all the time =) The skirt is from Topshop and was also in the sale for £15 =D

I bought these brogues from Primark around a year ago for £10. They are another one of my treasured possesions!!! =P I wear them ALOT , and considering I have had them for a year they are still in pretty good condition!  =D

The tights are one of my newer purchases , I'd been after some black tights for a while and saw these in Forever 21 for £7. It was the first time I had ever had a really good look in the shop. It's bloody amazing! I could spend hours in there =P Deffo need 2 go up bham more =)

So there you have it, my quick outfit of the day! Well , afternoon technically. =P

In other news me and my sister have started selling some of our clothes , check them out on our ebay account - vintage.kiss.x
I will add some pics of them on my next blog =)

Peace out!

Lets go to the Ballet...

Soo yesterday me and my sister went to the ballet, were posh like that you see! Not. Aha =P We did attempt to be posh though! I think we were rather successful on the dressing point. Not to sure if we pulled off the other stuff though... We travelled to the theatre by bus (classy), we went to the local shop for food and drink not willing to pay the ridiculous prices at the theatre! So there we were attempting to put a huge bag of crisps into my tiny bag and shoving Oasis bottles into out coat pockets, was rather funny aha. Nehu once we got our tickets we went and got our seats, as we were sitting down the people next to us were looking at us rather strangely, me and my sister looked at each other and realised we were in somebody else's seats, oops. Finally we found our seats, we were in restricted view seats so we kept an eye out for any empty seats we could move to with a better view! =P Luckily we spotted some and moved to them in the interval. I felt like a rebel! Aha, but the show looked so much better there =) So there you have it , mine and my sisters attempt at being posh! =P

So heres my outfit!
I got this dress from the clothes show last year, It was such a good deal! It cost me £20. It was at the DahliaFashion store so when I got back I searched the sight. The other dresses cost around £60, so I was well chuffed at the price of mine! =P They have some really nice dresses check them out here =D

Thought I would wear some heels to go to the ballet , I'm not a heels kind of girl. I would be if I could walk in them , but unfortunately I cant =( These aren't too bad though. The heel is quite thick and low so they are rather comfy.  The shoes were from Newlook and cost £20.

The show was Swan Lake, one of the most well known ballet shows. It was amazing!!! The dancing was beautiful... I highly recommend you go and see it! =D Were going to watch another one tonight - only this time it's Beauty and the Beast. I'm so excited!  I absaloutely love the Disney movie so I cant imagine what this is going to be like =D I'll leave you to watch a video of one of my favourite scenes from the show. Enojoy! =D

Boo!

I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while now. I always had doubts because I thought I wouldn't have anything to write about aha. Recently my sister started a blog  Sunflowers-Dance.blogspot.com  and I found myself reading it all the time and kept bugging her to write new ones! =P She insisted I began to write my own blog. I made excuses, saying that my laptop had broke so I couldn't really write one - when really I was just afraid? Not sure if afraid is the right word aha, but you get my drift. Anyhow, my mom and dad got me a lappy yesterday so I can no longer use that as an excuse. £230 it was - bargain! I've gotta give them the money back though sadly, it's gonna kill me to hand over that money =( Just think how many clothes I could have bought with that!

Anyway, about me. I'm a 16 year old girl who lives in a crappy little town called Walsall. I'm in my last year of school (thank god) and can't wait to go to college! I have a Sunday job serving food at a pub called The County, I only do 4 hours and get 20 pounds. So that's not bad really, considering most people my age don't have a job. I really do want another job though or more hours , 20 pounds a week isn't enough when you love shopping as much as me =) aha.

So to make a little more money me and my sister have started selling some of our clothes on ebay and asos marketplace. We created outfits out of the clothes we wanted to sell yesterday and took some pictures ready to put online. But there was a problem - we fell in love with some of the outfits and didnt want to sell them anymore! aha. We got past that though and told ourselves that with the money we make we could buy an even better outfit. =P I'll add some pics soon once we've started selling them! =)

Today has just been one of my usual Sundays... Work at 12 till 4 - and then doing bugger all for the rest of the day! This needs to stop happening. Hopefully my blog will help me do that =) So as soon as I got back from work I got out of my horrible work clothes. A pair of black trousers and white shirt. Not very eye catching at all. That's one of the things I dislike about working at a pub. I look rather boring and normal. This isn't good. I might have to do something about that actually. I'm sure I can make my uniform look a tad more fashionable!?

Back to getting changed =P I threw on one of my old Newlook Tops and tucked it into my new skirt from Cow in Birmingham. It was at a bargain price of £3! It didn't even cost me that , as me and my sister share the majority of our clothes aha. So it cost me £1.50! I think thats bloody amazing if you ask me =D I paired it with some wooly tights, my owl necklace, vintage earrings and my new Red Herring boots which were in the sale for £20 - originally price £60. I'm sure you can tell by now that I love my bargains =P

Top - £12 Newook
Skirt - £3 - Cow
Tights - Matalan

Red Herring boots. £20 - originally £60!.

I absolutely adore owls!!!! They are one of my many obsessions =D This was one of my first purchases of jewellery from Topshop. I bought it about a year ago, think it cost me around £10? It was money well spent! I wear this item of jewellery at least once a week =)
These earrings are also around a year old , I was given these as a gift from my sister. I don't wear these very often to be honest. I don't know why as they are really cute and different. Think I will start wearing them more! =)

So there you have it, my quick Sunday outfit! Not that I really went out aha , I went round my mates house for a while and played the Beatles guitar hero though! Love that game I do =D ahhhh if only I was that good at playing the real guitar...

Right I best get some sleep , I have school in the morning and if I don't go to bed now I doubt I will be up in time! School - "The best times of your life" they say. Well that's a load of shite. Mind my French.

Sweet dreams
