Hey there!!!

Finally got chance to do a post! feels like forever since I last did one , I've been a busy bee doing college work and going to college , oh and work! Its a hard life. But for now here is my outfit for the day!

When it comes to college work I had to draw a fashion pose in the style of an art movement or an artist. I chose Japanese style paintings , and heres the outcome! 

It took me forever!!! Think it turned out pretty well though beings as I've never really painted before! I did get help from my sister though but shhhh. 

In other news, guess what I'm doing tomorrow?!?!?!  I'm going to see the Vaccines!!!! I'm so excited, words cant explain how much I love concerts. I saw them before when they were a tribute band for The Arctic Monkeys but I didn't listen to them that much then. Whereas now I am a hugeee fan! You may have heard of their new song 'teenage icon', but if you have never listened to the Vaccines you are missing out big timeeee. I shall leave you with a few of my favorite songs.

Shes got you high...

I found myself looking at pictures of Zooey Deschanel this morning... words can't explain how much I lalala love this woman, she is just wonderful in so many ways. My love for her started when I watched the film 500 days of Summer. This film has to be one of the best films of all time , if you have never watched it be sure to order it right now!  It includes music from The Smiths, Tempertrap and the amazing song 'shes got you high' by Mumrah. It also has some very very VERYY good eyecandy , starring the gorgeous Joseph Gordon Levitt.

Anyhowww , this put me in a rather girly , vintage kinda mood. So I decided to pull out this delightful piece from my (sisters) wardrobe. I love this dress! Wearing a white shirt and a blue pocket dress makes me feel like a little girl again, I feel like I'm back in  primary school  whenever I wear it! =)

For an average girl with a bad fringe

Notice anything different ? I've cut my fringe shorter!!!! I'd been saying for ages that I wanted a short fringe but lots of people were putting me off it saying it wouldn't suit me, so I put it off for a while. My fringe got verrry long so I asked my sister to trim it for me , yes trim , next thing you know my fringe is halfway up my forehead! I'm pretty grateful for it though! What do ya think?!

Another thing you might notice that is different is that I'm wearing jeans. WHARRTTT , this is very strange I know. I dont think I've ever done a post where I'm not wearing a dress or skirt. But lately with this cold weather I've had to invest in some jeans. Tights aren't doing enough for me anymore! I'm not a big fan of jeans , I just feel too plain and normal when I put them on , think I need to find a way of jazzing them up!!!! 

I'm gonna leave you with a song by the Courteeners! A band I love!!!! This isnt my favorite song by them but it suits this post! Me and my sister couldn't stop singing this when I first had my fringe cut.

Its been a while...

Hey guys!!!

Remember me??? I'm going to quit the whole apologising crap and promising to keep up with my blog because clearly that didn't go to plan last time. Its almost been 5 months since I last blogged , how crazy is that?! My life has changed quite a lot in those past 5 months , nothing extremely exciting, but it is way busier than it has ever been. I now have a job working at Newlook, I was first employed for a 3 month temp on a 4 hour contract. One amazing thing about working at Newlook , along with getting to look at pretty clothes all day is the the discount - 50% !!!! How good is that?! But of course I just went overboard , towards the end of the 3 months it said I had almost reached my limit of discount for the year , oops. Thankfully they kept me on and put me on a higher contract! =D I now have 16 hours , this has made my limit go up so I can now spend more money on beloved clothes! Woooop! When I'm not working at Newlook I am studying fashion at college, which I am loving!!!!! My life is pretty ram packed though. When I wrote my blog before I sort of saw it as a chore - something I had to do. But now I'm going to try and see it as a chill out kind of thing! =) Enough of me rambling , here's what I wore the other day to go shopping!

My style has changed slightly , I still love my vintage girly look but I've really got in to the whole rocky style. It all depends on what mood I'm in! =)
